To determine the effectiveness of online couponing at driving product trial, awareness and consideration of a new product.

Program Facts:
The client tested multiple media channels, including online banner ads, on ten of the web’s largest advertising networks, including Coupons.com. All networks drove traffic to the client’s promotional microsite offering a coupon (powered by Coupons.com) for a free sandwich with the purchase of a drink.

Results:
Coupons.com outperformed the nine other digital networks in driving click-throughs and coupon prints.

Coupons.com was allocated only 2% of the digital media impressions yet delivered 75% of the total coupons printed
Compared to the other nine networks, Coupons.com was the #1 performer, driving 33% of traffic
The banner impression click-through rate for Coupons.com was 28x higher than the other nine networks averaged
Those arriving from Coupons.com went on to print 5x more coupons
